What changed in 2026

Wildnote was acquired by Fulcrum in February 2026, leaving many environmental teams uncertain about pricing, feature continuity, and long-term support. Survey123 requires expensive ArcGIS licenses that put it out of reach for a lot of small and mid-size firms. General form builders like Google Forms and JotForm don't do GPS tagging, offline use or GIS exports.
