Fill official state PDFs with Report Builder
Import your state's official PDF (DPR 523, IMACS, your agency's ESA template) and map your FieldTap fields onto it once. After that, every record exports as a filled-in PDF with locations, photos and attributes. When the state revises the form, you remap it yourself. We don't know of another tool that does this.
Works with no signal
Data is stored on the device first. You can create projects, fill forms, take GPS-tagged photos and assign work to crew members at the bottom of a canyon, and it all syncs across devices once you're back in service.

Can I customize forms for my state's requirements?

Yes. You can add, remove or reorder fields on any template to match what your SHPO wants, then save it as a template for the rest of your team. We also add state-specific templates when customers ask for them.

Does FieldTap work offline in remote field locations?

Yes. FieldTap stores everything on the device first, so you can create records, fill out forms and take GPS-tagged photos with no signal at all. Data syncs when you're back in range.

How does FieldTap handle photo documentation?

Every photo taken in FieldTap is tagged with GPS coordinates, a timestamp and compass direction, and it's attached to the record it belongs to (an STP, a feature, a site overview). You don't have to keep a separate photo log or match filenames to proveniences later.

Can my whole field crew use FieldTap?

Yes. Each person gets a role with its own permissions. You can assign survey areas to crew members and review their records as they come in, across as many sites as the project has. Plans cover everyone from solo consultants to large CRM firms.
